Delete your account
Deleting your account signs you out, revokes sessions, and schedules removal of personal data. Active eSIMs and open orders may be affected. Refunds follow the plan terms shown at checkout. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Delete in the LinkSIM app
This is the fastest path if you still have the app and can sign in. You need a full (registered) account — guest checkout alone is not enough.
-
01
Open Account
Sign in to LinkSIM, then open the Account tab.
-
02
Privacy and data
Go to About → Privacy and data (or Account → Privacy and data).
-
03
Delete account
Tap Delete account. Review the impact summary for eSIMs, orders, and tickets.
-
04
Confirm
Acknowledge the warning, type
DELETE, and confirm with your password or device biometrics.
You will receive a confirmation email. After deletion completes you cannot sign in with that account.
Delete without the app
If you cannot use the app, email us from the address on your LinkSIM account. We will verify ownership and process the request.
Include: the email on your account, and that you want the account permanently deleted. We may ask a short verification question before we proceed.
What happens next
- Deletion is scheduled with a grace period of about 7 days. During that window you can cancel (see below).
- You are signed out; active sessions and trusted devices are revoked.
- After the grace period ends we purge or anonymize personal data that is no longer required.
- Active eSIMs / SIM Links and open orders may stop working or be closed as part of deletion. Unused data is not automatically refunded unless plan terms or law require it.
Data we remove
When deletion completes we remove or anonymize, as applicable:
- Account profile (email, name, phone if provided, preferences)
- Authentication sessions, trusted devices, and login credentials
- Saved payment methods on file with LinkSIM (cards remain with Stripe until detached)
- Support chat and ticket content where we are not required to keep it
- Marketing consents and optional analytics identifiers tied to your account
Data we may retain
We may keep limited records where law, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute handling requires it — for example order and payment history, invoices, and security logs. Retained records are kept only as long as needed and are not used to market to you.
See Retention and Your rights in the Privacy Policy.
Cancel a pending deletion
If you requested deletion in the app and are still within the grace period, use the cancel link in the confirmation email, or open the delete-account screen from that email link before the grace period ends. After purge completes, the account cannot be restored — you would need to register again with a new account.
